The Panhandle takes direct hits. After Hurricane Isaias our crews have been working from Pensacola to Panama City on emergency tarping, water mitigation and wind and hail roof repair — and every county here permits storm work a little differently.
Metro Builders Florida is registered with Santa Rosa County and the City of Fort Walton Beach for permitting, with the remaining Panhandle jurisdictions in progress. We pull the permit for each structure and trade, the way the counties require.

Common questions
Are you local to the Panhandle?
Our Panhandle team has been working from Pensacola east to Panama City since Hurricane Isaias, under the same Florida licenses as our Holiday office.
Can you tarp my roof today?
Call (850) 359-8328. Emergency tarping is scheduled by severity — active leaks into living space go first.
Do I have time to cancel a contract signed after the storm?
Florida law gives you a cancellation right on roof contracts signed during a declared state of emergency — generally 10 days or until work officially starts, whichever comes first. It must be printed in your contract.
